Chitrakoot, 06 May (HS). In view of the safety of the devotees coming for the upcoming Vaishakh month Amavasya fair, heavy and medium goods vehicles (except emergency and essential goods vehicles) will not be allowed in the city area from 5:30 am on May 7 to 9:30 pm on May 8. Entry, transportation and movement of people in Karvi Nagar will be completely restricted.

This restriction has been taken by Chitrakoot district and police administration in view of the crowd of devotees coming for darshan and worship on Amavasya and lakhs of people thronging the parikrama area. Giving this information, the ASP of the district said that due to Amavasya, Lodhwara Mod, Rajapur Marg, Rehutia (east of railway crossing), Prayagraj Road, Khoh (Police Line Tiraha), M.kpur Road from 5:30 am to 9:30 pm. 5:30 AM to 10 PM, Sheshanpurwa Mode Sonepur, Satna Road 5:30 AM to 10:30 PM, Bedi Pulia (Matyagjendranath Dharmakanta) Banda Road 5:30 AM to 11 PM, Nirmohi Akhara Bedi Pulia from UP-MP border to Tiraha will be restricted from 5:30 am to 11 pm. Also, heavy goods vehicles that have entered through the no entry barriers at 5:30 am will, in all cases, exit the no entry area by 6 am. In view of the safety of the devotees, a new no entry route has been declared from Nirmohi Akhara UP-MP border to Bedi Pulia Tiraha. In case of change in the no entry timings in view of marriage, religious, festival, procession, tableau, procession, political programs etc. in the city, information about the change will be given at the no entry barrier itself.

Fair special trains will run

In view of Vaishakh Amavasya, the Railway Administration has operated two fair special trains for the convenience of the passengers. In which from 7th to 9th May, the fair special Veerangana Lakshmibai will travel from Jhansi to Chitrakoot Dham railway station. This train will depart from Veerangana Lakshmi Bai Railway Station Jhansi at 10:10 am and reach Chitrakoot at 5:45 pm. It will leave from here again at 7:25 pm and leave for Jhansi. Similarly, the second fair special Veerangana Lakshmi Bai will leave from Jhansi railway station at 8:10 pm. This train will reach Chitrakoot Dham Karvi Railway Station at 3:05 in the morning. From here it will leave for Jhansi at 4:40 in the morning. Apart from this, Veerangana Lakshmi Bai Jhansi-Banda Memo train has been extended up to Chitrakoot Dham Karvi Railway Station.
