Palamu, May 9 (Hindustan Reporter) District Election Officer cum Deputy Commissioner Shashi Ranjan inspected the material warehouse operated in the old District Land Acquisition Office of the old Collectorate complex on Thursday. During this, he took information about the packets prepared for the polling workers. Apart from this, taking information about the materials used in election work, a material list was taken and each material was matched.
He matched the presiding officer’s instruction book, EVM’s instruction book, different types of forms, envelopes of statutory and non-statutory packets, pens, pins, indelible ink, metal seals, different types of posters and other important materials in the election. Along with this, packets made by Vidhan Sabha and distinguishing marks were also examined.
He directed Nodal Officer of Voting Material Cell cum Medininagar Municipal Commissioner Javed Hussain to be alert while packing the material to check and provide the prescribed material as per the criteria of the Election Commission.
