Bhopal, May 10 (HS). On the orders of the Indore bench of Madhya Pradesh High Court, the survey of the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) department in the historical Bhojshala of Dhar continued for the 50th day on Friday. A team of 12 ASI officers along with 30 workers reached the Bhojshala premises at 6 am and came out at 12 noon. Here the team worked for about six hours using modern equipment using scientific methods. Gopal Sharma, Ashish Goyal from the Hindu side and Abdul Samad Khan from the Muslim side were also present with the survey team.

During the ongoing survey on the lines of Gyanvapi, excavation was done in the north direction in the Bhojshala complex on the 50th day. Some new sites were included in the list of places marked for excavation in the interior. Of these, two walls are going from east to west and one wall is going from north to south. On Thursday, digging up to 10 feet was done here. Two more feet were excavated on Friday. In this way, 12 feet excavation has been done so far. The wall is still visible in this. Excavation will continue to determine the depth of the foundation.

Hindu party Gopal Sharma, who was present with the survey team, said that the survey was conducted for six hours on Friday. In this, excavation was done in the outer premises. The work of removing soil took place in the inner premises. The team is facing many problems in the summer. Survey work is being hampered especially due to the stones being hot. The survey work is going on with full promptness. It is expected that the result will be in favor of Sanatan.

Actually, on Friday, Jumma prayers are offered here by the Muslim community from 1 to 3 pm. Even today, after 12 noon, the Muslim community had reached the Bhojshala to offer Namaz. During this period, strict security arrangements were made in the Bhojshala premises. In view of the Namaz at Bhojshala, the ASI team arrived today at 6 am and left after completing the survey at 12 noon.

There will be discussion on survey using machines

Hindu party Gopal Sharma told that Ranjana Agnihotri, national president of Hindu Front for Justice and petitioner in the Bhojshala case, will be on a stay in Dhar on Saturday, May 11. He has also fought legal battles for Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Ayodhya, Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple Varanasi and Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi Temple Mathura. Last month also she had come to Dhar on a three-day stay. Ranjana Agnihotri will also come here and discuss with the survey team about starting survey work with machines.
