Latehar, 20 April (HS). CRPF Havildar Ram Bhuvan Singh Yadav (44), who was riding on the tempo, died in a collision between a tempo and a tractor on Station Road of the district headquarters on Saturday. The deceased Ram Bhuvan Singh Yadav was a resident of Mau, Uttar Pradesh. Presently he was working in CRPF 214 battalion located at Latehar district headquarters.

According to the police, on Saturday, Ram Bhuvan Singh Yadav had left the camp to go home after taking leave. They were going to Latehar Railway Station to catch the train in an auto. Meanwhile, there was a collision between an auto and a tractor on the way. A wheat cutting machine was kept on the tractor. During the collision, the sharp part of the machine entered the neck of the CRPF constable sitting on the tempo, due to which he died on the spot.

After the incident, CRPF officers and soldiers reached the spot and informed the police. After this, SP Anj. Anjan, Police Inspector cum station in-charge Pramod Kumar and other police officers reached the spot and took information about the matter. The station in-charge said that the body has been sent for post-mortem. Police are investigating the incident.
