Kanpur, 09 May (HS). Indian wrestler The Great Khali on Thursday started a road show with the slogan of Jai Shri Ram in support of Bharatiya Janata Party’s Kanpur Nagar candidate Ramesh Awasthi. A huge crowd gathered in the road show.
M.sh Tripathi, media in-charge of Bharatiya Janata Party South and City parliamentary constituency, said that a crowd gathered near Chandrika Devi Temple, the deputy stop during the road show of Indian wrestler, WWF winner and actor The Great Khali.
Khali’s road show will pass through CTI, Chawla Market, Parampurwa, Juhi Depot, Bara Devi Square, Site Number One, Kidwai Nagar Square, 40 Shop, Babupurwa, Four Road Square and end at Bakarganj intersection in Kidwai Nagar assembly constituency of the city.
Along with this, a huge crowd gathered in Khali’s road show through various intersections in Sisamau Assembly. The Great Khali appealed to the people to vote in favor of Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Ramesh Awasthi.
The Great Khali was accomp.ed by MLC Salil Vishnoi, BJP candidate Ramesh Awasthi and a large number of BJP workers and leaders in the road show. Heavy police force was also deployed in view of security.
