Mirzapur, 27 April (HIST). A constable working in Uttar Pradesh Police Department posted at Mirzapur Police Line died suddenly on Friday due to illness. The deceased was a resident of Dadupur (Ugna) village of Dhavkalganj police station under Kapsethi police station area of Varanasi district.
Constable Sanjay Sonkar (32), resident of Dadupur Ugna village of Dhavkalganj police post area, was posted in Mirzapur police line. On Wednesday his health suddenly deteriorated and he went to his village the same day. The constable died during treatment in the hospital on Friday morning.
Dhavkalganj outpost in-charge Gaurav Upadhyay said that Sanjay Sonkar was appointed as a constable in Uttar Pradesh Police in 2006. At present he was posted in Mirzapur Police Lines.
