Patiala: New rules are being implemented for drivers in Punjabi University. Under which speed limit has also been fixed along with a complete ban on triple riding on two-wheelers in the campus. According to the instructions issued, those who commit triple riding will be warned for the first time, fined for the second time and administrative action will be taken against those who repeat the same mistake for the third time.

According to information, the guidelines for use of two-wheelers on the Punjabi University campus state that triple riding within the campus has been found to be the cause of road accidents in the past. Therefore, triple riding is completely banned in the university campus. If any student does triple riding on the university campus, a warning will be issued by the security officer. After this, if the same student does triple riding again, a fine of Rs 500 will be imposed by the security officer, which will be given to the security department after depositing it with the cashier of the concerned student university. If the same student is found guilty for the third time, administrative action will be taken against him by the Security Officer, Dean Student Welfare and Registrar.

 

 

Triple riding inside the Punjabi University campus is strictly prohibited, even for employees, officials or residents of the campus. If found guilty of triple riding, administrative action will be taken by the Registrar. Apart from this, a maximum speed limit of 30 kilometers has been fixed for two-wheelers inside the Punjabi University Camp.
