Jalandhar:A case has been registered against the producer and director of the film ‘Yaariyan 2’ at Police Station Division No. 4 in Jalandhar following protests by the Sikh Coordination Committee over Monet artist performing songs wearing a sacred headscarf. Related to Sikhism. Earlier, the representatives of the committee had given a demand letter to SHO Ashok Kumar of Police Station Division No. 4 and demanded to register the case. Along with this, as soon as the members of the Sikh Coordination Committee reached Bhagwan Valmiki Chowk by warning them to surround Police Division No. 4 on Wednesday night, the police officers fulfilled the demand of the sangatwan representatives and registered the case.

 

Earlier in the afternoon, Sikh Coordination Committee chief Tejinder Singh Pardesi, Harpal Singh Chadha, Harpreet Singh Neetu reached the police post. Gurvinder Singh Sidhu and others said that apart from making objectionable comments about Sikh evils, sometimes turban, the religious sentiments of Sikhs are being played with by making false statements. He said that the objectionable scene of the film will never be tolerated.
