Ranchi, 29 April (HS). Keeping in mind the adverse effects on the health of students due to extreme heat and heat wave in the state, classes from KG to class 8 have been postponed in all government and private schools. This order will not apply to teachers and non-teaching staff of schools. A separate order will be issued for the summer vacation payable to teachers and non-teaching staff. This order has been issued by Government Secretary in-charge Uma Shankar Singh on Monday. This will remain in force till further orders.
Teachers and non-teaching staff will do this work
-Evaluating the answer sheets of the annual examination from classes one to seven, publishing results, preparation of report card, student-wise students’ marks will be completed online in e-VidyaVahini.
-Will complete 100% entry of students’ data in U-DICE Plus.
-We will ensure that the books available in the school library are cataloged and maintained.
-Will maintain updates of all types of registers, bank passbooks, cashbooks etc. of the school.
-Will do the enrollment of students coming for the academic session 2024-25.
-We will prepare class wise and subject wise curriculum plan and related teaching learning materials for the academic session 2024-25.
-All teachers will register themselves in the J-Guruji application for capacity building and watch the video material available on it.
-All types of residential schools will continue to operate as before.
-Classes above class 09 will be conducted from 7 am to 11:30 am. During this period, prayer meetings or sports and other outdoor activities will not be conducted.
It is noteworthy that the parents’ association had demanded holidays in schools. In this regard, Jharkhand Parents Association President Ajay Rai had submitted a memorandum through email to the Principal Secretary of the Education and Literacy Department, in which it has been demanded that in view of the extreme rise in temperature, holidays should be given in all government and non-government schools. . Under these circumstances, sending small children to school is a matter of concern for parents.
