Moradabad, 4 May (Hindustan Reporter) On Saturday, a brick kiln which was running against the rules in Tevarkhas village of Bilari Kotwali area of the district was closed by the SDM in the presence of the police team. By sending a confidential complaint to the government, it was said that a brick kiln was being operated in village Tevarkhas without the no objection certificate from the pollution department.
On Saturday, SDM M. Arora, Naib Tehsildar Lokesh Kumar and staff-officers of the fire department reached the kiln along with the police team. The brick kiln operator could not show the NOC from the pollution department. The SDM first sealed the office of the kiln and later the fire brigade extinguished the fire burning in the kiln for baking bricks by spraying water. During this, Naib Tehsildar Kundarki Lokesh Kumar and Light Revenue Inspector and Accountant were also present.
