New Delhi: UP ATS conducted a major operation in several districts of the state to search for foreigners who had entered the country illegally. In this operation of ATS, dozens of Rohingya Muslims were caught from different places. The Rohingyas caught in the ATS investigation have been kept in the concerned police station, who are being interrogated. So far in this operation of ATS, information has been received about the arrest of Rohingyas from Aligarh, Hapur and Mathura.

ATS and police team arrested 16 Rohingyas. Hapur Meerut ATS team has arrested 16 Rohingya Muslims from Khichra village by raiding in Thana Dhaulana area. The team has made everyone sit in the police station. In which they are asked. Many big cases can come to the fore after inquiry. Officials are currently refusing to give more details.

17 Rohingya Muslims were arrested in Aligarh

In Aligarh, ATS arrested 17 Rohingya Muslims from Makhdoom Nagar with the help of Kotwali Nagar police station. Of these, 10 are women and seven are men. These people are originally from Myanmar and were living here illegally. A case has been registered against all of them.

40 Rohingya in Mathura were doing business

Apart from this, in Mathura also, ATS along with Jayant police has taken major action. 40 Rohingya Muslims living in huts in Alhepur and Kota villages of Jayant police station area have been arrested. The operation was started secretly for eight hours after midnight. Here these Muslim families used to collect garbage from hotels etc and sell it. For this he had taken a farm on rent.
