Under Swachhta Pakhwada in Katihar Railway Division, different programs are being org.zed every day with the aim of spreading awareness about cleanliness among railway employees and railway users. In which all the railway officers, personnel and officials of recognized trade unions and welfare org.zations and Scots and guides are participating enthusiastically and playing their role in making the fortnight a success.
In the same sequence, on Saturday, under the leadership of Senior DPO of Katihar Railway Division Atul Kumar Mishra, the officers and employees of the Personnel Department removed more than three thousand kilos of scrap and waste papers in 30 big sacks from the Personnel Department and cleaned the entire office. Cleaned up.
It is noteworthy that as per the instructions of the Railway Ministry, the entire Indian Railways is celebrating Swachhta Pakhwada from 16th September to 02nd October. This year the SHS activities have been integrated with the Swachhta Pakwara program of Indian Railways.
In this context, Senior DPO of Katihar Railway Division Atul Kumar Mishra said that for Swachhta Pakhwada 2023, dedicated days have been fixed for activities like clean trains, clean stations, clean food and clean tracks etc. during the fortnight. This time, along with the use of bio-toilets, a comprehensive awareness campaign will be run to avoid single-use plastic and for cleanliness.
