Today i.e. Thursday 31st August is the last day of Amarnath Yatra. The yatra will end with a visit to Chardi Mubarak. Lakhs of devotees have gathered this time to visit Baba Barf., established in the Amarnath cave located in Pahalgam, Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. Aarti was performed today at the Amarnath cave temple in Jammu and Kashmir. The 62-day Amarnath Yatra, which began on July 1, will end on August 31, 2023.
Chhadi Mubarak had left for the darshan of Baba Barf. from an akhada in Srinagar on August 26, which reached the holy cave today. After being installed in the holy cave with the rising sun under the leadership of Mahant Dipendra Giri, it will be taken back to the akhara in Srinagar. Let us tell you that Lord Shiva’s stick wrapped in saffron cloth is called Chhadi Mubarak. Every year the Amarnath Yatra ends with the Chhadi Mubarak Yatra.
The Amarnath Yatra, which started on July 1 this year, has broken the record of the number of devotees who came for darshan on August 6 after 37 days. So far more than 4 lakh 17 thousand devotees have visited. While last year, 3 lakh 65 thousand devotees had come to visit Baba Barf. in the entire season.
