According to the press note issued by the Election Commission, till 7 pm, an average of 60.96 percent voting was recorded in 88 seats of 13 states. In the second phase, 70.68 percent in North-Eastern states Assam, 77.18 percent in M.pur and 77.97 percent in Tripura. vote Read. Lower turnout compared to 2019
Like the first phase of Lok Sabha elections, fewer votes were cast in the second phase of voting on Friday as compared to 2019. In the second phase, voting took place on all 88 seats in 13 states. The data till 5 pm indicates that this great festival of democracy has seen a huge decline in voter participation. In the last Lok Sabha elections, the average voting in India was about 70 percent. But this year it has seen a significant decline. Only 60 percent voting took place till 5 pm.
