There has been a rise in the stock market on Friday i.e. the last day of the week. Both Sensex and Nifty opened in the green zone. This increase is negligible but due to Akshaya Tritiya, today is likely to be a special day in the market. At 9.30 am, Nifty gained 0.38% while Sensex gained 221.59 points.

Domestic stocks opened with gains today but the market is struggling to recover from Thursday’s huge fall. Bank Nifty opened with a gain of 67 points but slipped into the red as soon as it opened.

BSE Sensex opened 71.28 points higher at 72,475. NSE’s Nifty opened 33.45 points or 0.15 per cent higher at 21,990.
