Guwahati (Assam), 07 May (HS). Outgoing AIUDF MP and Dhubri Lok Sabha seat candidate Maulana Badruddin Ajmal has supported the demand for Muslim reservation made by Lalu Prasad Yadav.
While talking to the media on Tuesday, Ajmal said that earlier also many parties had made promises related to Muslim reservation, but no one fulfilled them. He said that Lalu Yadav’s demand for Muslim reservation is welcome.
Ajmal said that many small castes are getting reservation in this country, but Muslims are not getting it. Muslims should also get reservation.
