Lok Sabha Elections-2024 Voting Percentage of Third Phase : Voting is taking place today on 93 seats in 11 states and union territories in the third phase of Lok Sabha elections.
50.71 percent voting till 3 pm in the third phase
Till 3 pm, maximum voting took place in West Bengal and Assam. The lowest turnout took place in Bihar.

Voting will be completed on 280 seats in the first three phases this evening.
Today voting is taking place on 25 seats in Gujarat, 11 in Maharashtra, 10 in Uttar Pradesh, remaining 14 out of 28 in Karnataka, seven in Chhattisgarh, five in Bihar, four each in Bengal and Assam and two in Goa. Apart from this, the third phase of voting is also being held on both the seats of Daman-Diu and Dadra Nagar Haveli and 9 seats of Madhya Pradesh. After the completion of all three phases of voting by evening, voting will be completed on a total of 280 seats in the country. After this, voting will take place on 263 seats in the remaining four phases.

Major constituencies of the third phase include Gandhinagar seat in Gujarat and Baramati seat in Maharashtra. Congress’s Sonal Ramanbhai Patel is contesting from Gandhinagar against Home Minister Amit Shah and from Baramati, Sharad Pawar’s daughter Supriya Sule is contesting against her cousin Ajit Pawar’s wife Sunetra Pawar. Other hot seats in the third phase include Vidisha and Guna in Madhya Pradesh. BJP has given ticket to former Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan from Vidisha. Congress candidate Bhanu Pratap Sharma is contesting against him. Whereas from Guna, BJP has given ticket to Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia. Congress has fielded Rao Yadavendra Singh against him. In Dharwad, Karnataka, it is BJP candidate Pralhad Joshi against Congress’s Vinod Asuti, in Haveri, it is BJP’s Basavaraj Bommai against Congress’s Anand Swamy Gaddadevramath and in Assam’s Dhubri, it is India’s Rakibul Hasan against NDA’s Badruddin Ajmal.
