Lucknow, 26 April (Hindustan Reporter) District Election Officer Lucknow Suryapal Gangwar said on Friday that 41 nomination papers were distributed in Lucknow Lok Sabha. Mohanlalganj (Aj) A total of 11 nomination papers were distributed in the Lok Sabha and six nomination papers were distributed in the by-election in Lucknow East Assembly.

While starting the nomination process for Lok Sabha elections and Assembly by-elections in the Collectorate premises, the District Election Officer said that on the first day of nomination, the expenditure observer of Lok Sabha Mohanlalganj (Aj) will be sent to see the preparations being made for the elections and the arrangements for the nomination process. Arrival took place at the Collectorate premises. All the control rooms, accounts rooms, video observation team rooms and enrollment rooms located in the Collectorate were inspected by the observer.

He said that the observer also inspected the control room set up in the Collectorate to monitor election expenditure. After this the Supervisor held a meeting with the Assistant Expenditure Supervisors and took stock of the arrangements made for the nomination. Today, Om Prakash Srivastava from Bharatiya Janata Party and Mukesh Singh Chauhan from Indian National Congress filed their nomination papers for the by-election of Lucknow East Assembly.
