In line with the predictions made by FPJ, the eight-furlong event saw Mojito dominating the early stages, setting a brisk pace while being closely tailed by Geographique. Zuccaro, in the meantime, maintained a steady position in fourth place within the compact five-horse field.
As the race progressed and the contenders approached the 600-meter marker, Geographique overtook Mojito to claim the lead. However, Zuccaro, displaying an impressive burst of speed, began to make his move from the outside.
