In a surprising yet amusing crossover, Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal stepped into the world of Aashram in a quirky promotional video for Aashram Season 3 Part 2.

The video shows Chahal fully geared up in cricket pads, helmet, and bat, approaching Baba Nirala, played by Bobby Deol, with an unusual request to fulfill his lifelong dream of becoming an opening batsman. Baba Nirala, with his signature style, grants the wish with a confident “Tathastu!”

However, there’s a hilarious twist! Instead of opening cricket innings, Chahal finds himself opening water bottles, tiffins, and jammed doors for others. Left in shock, the spinner sighs, “Accha opener bana diya Baba.” Meanwhile, Baba Nirala delivers his iconic dialogue, “Baba ke aashram se koi bhi khaali haath nahi jaata.”

Has Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree Verma finally divorced?

Recently, reports surfaced claiming that Yuzvendra Chahal might have to pay a hefty alimony of ₹60 crore to Verma. However, Dhanashree’s family denied these reports, stating that they are ‘deeply outraged’ by the baseless claims.

Chahal’s lawyer, Nitin K. Gupta, confirmed that the divorce petition was filed with mutual consent and presented before the court in Bandra, Mumbai. “Mr. Chahal reached a settlement for obtaining Divorce by Mutual Consent with Mrs. Verma. A Petition for Divorce by mutual consent was presented before the Hon’ble Family Court, Bandra. The matter is currently sub-judice,” Chahal’s lawyer told Hindustan Times.

“Further steps are being taken as per law in this regard. Mr Chahal and his family respectfully choose not to comment on the details circulating in media and request all to refrain from any kind of speculation,” he added.
