During the International Masters League (IML), former India batter Yuvraj Singh organized a special celebration for cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar. The occasion marked 15 years since Sachin became the first player to score a double century in ODIs, remaining unbeaten against South Africa in 2010.
To honour this milestone a video was posted on social media by Sachin Tendulkar were Yuvraj and other team members surprised Sachin with a cake-cutting ceremony.
Sachin, in his usual humorous style, arrived padded up, joking that since he was not out in that match, he was still ready to bat. “Just to say, I was not out, so I’m still padded up,” Sachin remarked.
Yuvraj praised Sachin, calling him a true example of humility despite his legendary status and countless achievements.
“First man to get a double hundred. For him, it was just another day in the park, but we have learned from him to always stay humble. He is always there first,” said Yuvraj.
India Masters will face England Masters
Meanwhile, Sachin is gearing up to bat again as India Masters face England Masters on February 25. The tournament has brought cricket legends back to the field, allowing fans to relive their favorite moments.
In their first match, India Masters secured a close 4-run victory, though Sachin couldn’t score big. However, Yuvraj stole the show online with a stunning flying catch that went viral.
