Youth Stabs Teacher’s Face With Broken Beer Bottle After Dispute Over Cricket Ball | YouTube | South First
Bagalkote (Karnataka), May 15: In a shocking incident, a teacher was attacked with a broken beer bottle after an argument over cricket ball inside a school in Karnataka’s Bagalkote. The horrific incident was caught on the CCTV camera installed inside the school and the horrific footage is doing rounds on social media. It can be seen in the video that the angered youth is repeatedly stabbing the teacher’s face.
The incident reportedly occurred in the Savalgai village which a part of Jamkhandi taluk in Bagalkote district. The victim has been identifies as Rammappa Pujari who is a teacher at B.L.D.E. School in Savalagi.

The incident reportedly occurred after a dispute over a cricket ball. There are reports that the ball had accidentally fallen into the teacher’s house, after which the teacher scolded the youth and asked him not to be careless in the future. The youth who has been identified as Pavan Jadhav (21) was furious over the teacher for scolding him publicly.
He took the scolding personally and decided to take revenge. In the shocking act of revenge, he entered the school premises in broad day light and attacked the teacher with the broken beer bottle. The teacher suffered serious injuries to his face and shoulder in the attack.
The CCTV video shows Pavan walking in the class where the teacher is seated and attacking him multiple times with the beer bottle. Pavan escaped from the spot after stabbing the teacher. The teacher is seen trying to chase Pavan while holding his injured face and shoulder. The video of the incident is going viral on social media. There are reports that the incident occurred on Tuesday (May 13).
Following the attack, Ramu Pujari was rushed to a private hospital where he is currently receiving treatment for his injuries. Fortunately, doctors say that he has survived the deadly assault and is out of danger.
After receiving information about the incident, Savalagi police quickly reached the spot. They have taken the youth into custody and have begun questioning him regarding the attack. A case has been registered at the Savalagi police station and further investigation is ongoing.
