Indore (Madhya Pradesh): The body of a 24-year-old was found on the road with severe injuries and blood oozing from his wounds on Tuesday night in Simrol area. Investigations have revealed that the youth identified as Aswan, son of Bheema, resident of Mendal village was killed by a group of people after he objected to his niece’s friendship with one of the accused, an official said on Saturday. The police have detained some of the suspects and they are being interrogated. The post-mortem report revealed that he sustained a grievous head injury inflicted with a heavy object and was murdered.
During an investigation, police found that the deceased had a liquor party as liquor cans were found at the spot and detained some suspects with whom he had the party. They allegedly told police that Aswan had an argument with one of the accused a few days prior to the incident as he objected to his relationship with his niece. Later, they met again where an argument again broke out between them during the party. The accused attacked the victim with a wooden stick and killed him. The police will disclose the accused’s names soon.
40-year-old bizman found hanging in city
A 40-year-old building material businessman committed suicide by hanging himself at his place under Annapurna police station limits on Friday midnight. He was reportedly under pressure over a large debt owing to online gambling and some domestic problems. However, the exact reason behind his extreme decision is yet not known as no note was recovered.
According to the police, the deceased was identified as Rahul Gupta of Sudama Nagar. He owned a building material shop. He was depressed due to some domestic problems. His wife allegedly told police that he was addicted to online gambling and had lost money in it after which he owed a large debt to himself. His wife found him hanging after he hanged himself with a scarf (chunni). She along with her daughter got him down and rushed him to hospital where he was declared brought dead. He is survived by his wife and four daughters.
