Ghaziabad, 27 November (Hindustan Reporter). On Wednesday, a family in Ghaziabad’s Khoda police station became emotional when a young man who was missing 31 years ago met his family. However, the police had to put in a lot of effort in this.
ACP Rajneesh Upadhyay said that a young man had reached Khulal police station 5 days ago and told his name as Bhim Singh alias Raju. He had told the police that in December 1993, when he was coming from school with his sister in Shaheed Nagar area of Sahibabad, he was kidnapped by some people and taken to Rajasthan. Since then he was kept there. He was held hostage there and made to work all day long and was also given a loaf of bread to eat. One day he somehow ran away from there. Khoda police listened to him seriously and publicized this matter through various newspapers and social media so that his family could somehow reach the spot and take him. After 5 days of struggle, the young man’s uncle finally recognized him and then the whole family reached Khoda Colony police station to take him and handed him over to the family. During this time, when the family and the youth met each other, both were emotional, tears were flowing from their eyes.
