Yogi Government’s Big Decision Before Monsoon: Approved ₹ 200 crore projects for flood protection

News India Live, Digital Desk: The Yogi Adityanath government of Uttar Pradesh has approved projects worth ₹ 200 crores to protect the state from the flood disaster before the monsoon. This important decision was taken on Sunday under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, which aims to reduce the danger of possible floods in the state.

Emphasis on embankments and pumping stations of rivers

The funds issued by the government will ensure the strengthening of the embankments of major rivers like Saryu, Ganga, Rapti and Rohin. Along with this, erosion measures, repair of embankments, construction of RCC pillars and new pumping stations will be installed.

Special schemes in major districts

The project includes new pumping stations and embankments in Gorakhpur, reconstruction of bridges in Amethi, strengthening of embankments in Shravasti, sloping of slopes in Azamgarh, erosion work in Ghazipur, security work in Bulandshahr and construction of new embankments in Sitapur.

CM Yogi gave strict instructions to the officials

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has instructed all the officials concerned to regularly inspect the projects and prepare a progress report. He has clarified that no negligence will be tolerated and immediate action will be taken against the culprits.

Development and infrastructure of rural areas will be strengthened

The state government believes that these projects will not only provide protection from floods in rural areas, but will also develop local infrastructure. This will accelerate regional economic and social progress.
