Following the knock skipper Sanju Samson praised Riyan with a simple, “Well Done Macha” comment. Jaiswal and Dhruv Jurel couldn’t resist teasing Parag with the playful remark, “What A Riyan Yaar,”. The video, titled “144* (64) – What a Riyan Yaar,” highlighted Parag’s growing recognition within the team.

Revamped Rajasthan Royals eye IPL trophy

RR revamped their bowling unit during the IPL 2025 mega auction as they brought back Jofra Archer to pair up with Tushar Deshpande and spin duo of Wanindu Hasaranga and Maheesh Theekshana. Shimron Hetmyer, who was retained, is their only overseas batter in the team and is certain to start depending on form or fitness.

Royals also signed the 13-year-old batter Vaibhav Suryavanshi at the auction. He is the youngest player to earn an IPL deal and made his debut for Bihar across formats in domestic cricket in 2023-24.

The Men in Pink also have a new coaching team. Former India captain and coach Rahul Dravid is their head coach, and Vikram Rathour is their batting coach. They appointed former India legspinner Sairaj Bahutule as their spin-bowling coach.
