Hindu org.zations demonstrated by sitting at the main gate of the Mini Secretariat and reciting Hanuman Chalisa regarding the issue of marriage of a 13 year old minor in the case of Love Jihad. Demanded arrest of other accused and action against the female police personnel. The police registered a case under the POCSO Act against a teenager belonging to a particular community and arrested the accused and sent him to the Juvenile Jail in Ambala.

At present the police is investigating the matter. On Tuesday, workers of Hindu org.zations came to protest in large numbers in front of the Mini Secretariat in protest against the marriage of a 13 year old minor Hindu girl in the Love Jihad case. They reached the Mini Secretariat to meet the District Superintendent of Police, where the police stopped them by placing barricades. . Due to which angry people sat in front of the main gate and recited Hanuman Chalisa and demanded the arrest of the accused as well as action against the female police investigating officer.

Udayveer Shastri, convenor of Hindu Jagran Manch, said that a family of a special community living in Old Hamida Colony, through their daughter, befriended a 13-year-old girl from a poor Hindu family with Zubaid, who lives in Rampur M.haran town of Saharanpur. And in this love affair that lasted for three years, after getting the Hindu girl married, he brought her to his house here and went on the terrace and burst crackers in happiness. When the girl’s father got information about this whole matter from his mobile, he lodged a complaint at Hamida police post. Narendra Rana, in-charge of Yamunanagar city police station, says that on the complaint of the family, a case has been registered against the accused teenager under POCSO Act and he has been arrested and sent to Juvenile Jail in Ambala. The police is currently investigating the matter and if anyone else is found involved in this matter then strict action will be taken against him also.
