An X post where a man asked Swiggy Instamart to deliver a girlfriend to his address has gone viral. In the post, the person asked the grocery delivery platform to send a girlfriend to his house on the New Year’s Eve when people were seen ordering condoms.
4779 condoms by December 31 afternoon
On December 31, Swiggy rolled out a post suggesting the number of condoms it sold even before the peak hours of celebration. By afternoon, the instant delivery platform shared that thousands of condoms were ordered by customers.
“The data team is telling that till now 4779 condoms have been sold. That too till afternoon”, Swiggy Instamart posted on X.

As this post surfaced online, it received a wide range of reactions. However, one of the replies to this post that mentioned many condoms being sold out on the party night, read “Mere pincode par ek girlfriend deliver kardo (Please deliver a girlfriend to my pincode)”.

The X user expressed his desire to party with a female partner while welcoming New Year 2025. His post instantly caught the attention of internet users.
Swiggy Instamart couldn’t resist replying to the X user asking to order a girlfriend through their delivery platform. The brand gave a savage reply clarifying that such services aren’t available on the platform.
Dropping an angry emoji, they wrote, “Ye sab yaha nahi milta (You don’t get all this here)”.
However, soon, Swiggy Instamart didn’t wish to spoil the mood of the X user. They suggested him to order a lollipop instead of searching for a ‘girlfriend’ on the grocery delivery app. “Par lo chalo late night fee hata di hai, ek lollipop order karlo”, they wrote.
