Western Railway has commenced the celebrations for International Women’s Day 2025 with a series of engaging and inspiring events aimed at honoring the contributions of women and fostering a spirit of inclusivity and empowerment at Headquarter as well as at all Divisions and Workshops of WR.
According to a press release issued by the Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, Vineet Abhishek, as part of the ongoing International Women’s Day Celebration 2025, a health awareness program was organized at Western Railway’s HQ office on 07th March, 2025 featuring motivational sessions by women officers and staff. This was followed by a vibrant Fun & Fair event with exciting games and DJ music in which all those present participated whole heartedly & enthusiastically. More such celebrations will be held across other days upto 10 th March, 2025 with activities such as Yoga, wellness program, cultural programme, etc.
Western Railway takes immense pride in celebrating the achievements of women and reaffirms its commitment to fostering gender equality and empowerment. All women employees are being encouraged to participate and to make these events a grand success.
