Since the Women’s Premier League (WPL) match will be played at the Kotambi Stadium in Vadodara in the coming days, Vadodara’s Queen Radhiraje Gaikwad granted his support and best wishes to the Gujarat giolets team.
Prior to his much awaited domestic debut, Gujarat giant captain Ashley Gardner, Team’s partner Kashvi Gautam, Fobe Lichfield and Diandra Dotin enjoyed a memorial walk at the prestigious Lakshmi Vilas Palace, prestigious with Vadodara’s Queen Adhikarje Gaikwad.

Queen Rodhiraj, a strong supporter of women empowerment, gave his support to the team and shared special stories about women empowerment initiative and Vadodara’s legacy of cricket culture. The players also visited the Gajra Cafe launched by the bowling coach Praveen Tambe and the Chief Business Officer of Adani Sportline Sanjay Adesara.

Dialogue session with Queen Radhika Raje
During this visit, a special conversation session was held between the players and Queen Radhika, who has a deep connection with cricket. Captain Ashley Gardner presented a special jersey of Gujarat giants to the Queen. His Majesty gave his best wishes to the team before the new session and reiterated his support for its growing influence in Gujarat team, women’s cricket and India.
