Kumbh Mela 2025: New Delhi: It is estimated that the Mahakumbh, which started on Monday, January 13, will continue till February and about 40 crore devotees will participate in the world’s largest religious event. According to Praveen Khandelwal, National General Secretary and MP of Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT), there will be a business of more than Rs 2 lakh crore in this Mahakumbh. This will also boost the country’s economy.
On the occasion of this Mahakumbh, devotees from all over the country and abroad will come for the holy bath. According to Praveen Khandelwal, this event will boost trade, rail, air services and road transport in and around Prayagraj. Goods and services worth about Rs 40 thousand crore will be supplied from Delhi to Prayagraj and surrounding areas. Mahakumbh 2025 is not only a center of faith and spirituality, but also a symbol of India’s cultural and economic strength.

According to an estimate, an average of Rs 5 thousand can be spent by one person in Mahakumbh. There will be mainly hotels, dharamshalas, temporary accommodation, food, puja material, health care and other goods and services. Therefore, the total business of the festival can reach Rs 2 lakh crore.
