The Donald Trump administration has taken one action after the protests against Israel in the Harvard University campus. The US Education Department has stopped billions of dollars for research and other financial assistance to universities. The department informed the university administration on Monday.

According to the Reuters report, the ban will remain in force until the Harvard Trump accepts the demands of the administration. The department has asked the university to take action in relation to the ban on alleged anti -Jewish spirit, student caste policies and the institute accepting grants on the campus.

Education Secretary Linda McMahon said in a letter that Harvard should not accept the grant from the federal government, as no grant will be given now. Harvard did not respond to this immediately. According to reports, the Trump administration has taken this step keeping in mind the legal boundaries.

Following pro -Palestine protests, the Trump administration accused the university administration of anti -Jew of Jewish activities on the campus. The Trump administration has demanded a ban on such groups in the campus and banning the wearing mask during protests. However, the university has denied such allegations. According to the demand of the Trump administration, no concrete action has been taken against the campus protesters, which has increased the resentment of the Trump administration.
