Palghar, Maharashtra: A seemingly minor dispute escalated into a full-blown brawl, culminating in chaos within the Achole police station, leading to charges against ten individuals, nine of whom are women.

The incident began when Priya Sunil Solanki (32), a resident of Samparna Building, Nalasopara East, was brutally assaulted by a group of nine women on Sunday night near Martin Complex over a minor dispute with an acquaintance, Kajal Madheshiya.

Seeking to file a complaint, Solanki went to the Achole police station. However, the women who had attacked her followed her there and resumed the assault inside the police station.  When officers attempted to intervene, the situation spiraled out of control, creating a ruckus with the women allegedly pushing and shoving the police personnel.

Police have registered a case against all 10 individuals, including Kajal Madheshiya, Madhu Madheshiya, Karishma Madheshiya, Mala Madheshiya, Sapna Madheshiya, Priyam Madheshiya, Pooja Pandey, Sapna Gupta, Sangeeta, and Karishma’s husband, under various sections for assault and misbehavior with police officers.
