Indore: Woman Hangs Herself To Death, Days After Live-In Partner Was Murdered By Ex-Husband | Representational Image
Indore (Madhya Pradesh): A woman was found hanging in her rented room, just days after her live-in partner was allegedly murdered by her ex-husband.
The deceased has been identified as Sonia alias Punia Bairagi. Her live-in partner Babu Bairagi was allegedly murdered by her ex-husband Raju Yadav. three days ago.
According to a neighbour, Sonia was under immense shock since Babu’s murder and was preparing to return to her maternal home in Kolkata (Howrah). But before going to Kolkata, she wanted to meet her first husband Raju, who is currently in jail on murder charges.
The police confirmed, Sonia’s body was found hanging from a noose in the room in the morning, the body was sent to MY Hospital for postmortem.
She was under stress after the murder of her live-in partner
Sonia was living in a live-in relationship with Babu Bairagi who was a chef by profession. Sonia was earlier the married to Raju Yadav, a resident of Dhar.
Raju was disappointed with Sonia living with Babu. In a fit of rage, Raju stabbed Babu to death on Saturday early morning. After the murder, the police arrested Raju.
Neighbours got alarmed after Sonia’s unresponsive behaviour
On Tuesday morning, a neighbor found Sonia unresponsive and alerted others. When she didn’t answer the door, it was broken open and she was discovered hanging. Her body was sent to MY Hospital for postmortem.
