Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): A woman hanged herself to death in Bhopal after her husband did not take leave from his job on Friday.

No suicide note has been found.

The deceased was identified as Smita Mishra (28), resident of Brij Colony, Karond.

Upon receiving the information, the police have registered a case and began the investigation.

According to information, Smita had a stomachache from the last two days. Her husband Pratik then took her to the doctor. After getting back home she asked her husband to take leave from his office but Pratik had to go to Piparaiya for some important work.

After sometime, Smita called him and told him that she was not worried about her and left for work. They both then had a dispute with each other and Smita disconnected the call. On this, Pratik called her several times but she didn’t pick up the call.

Worried, he called his neighbour and went to Pratik’s house. There he found Smita had hanged herself with a noose while their four-year-old son was watching TV.

He then informed Pratik and police. The police after getting the information reached the spot immediately and removed the noose of Smita.

The police have registered a case in the Nishatpura police station. Further investigations are underway.
