Sarson Da Saag Recipe with Corn Roti: The winter dish also includes Sarson Nu Shaak and Corn Roti. This dish is very popular in North India. Now it is being eaten in Gujarat also. So today here we will explain the method of making Sarson Da Saag i.e. Mustard Greens.

Ingredients to make Sarson Ka Saag

  • 2 cups mustard leaves (chopped)
  • 1 cup spinach leaves (chopped)
  • 1 medium onion (finely chopped)
  • 2-3 garlic cloves (finely chopped)
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • / 2 teaspoons turmeric
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • salt to taste
  • 1/4 cup water

How to make Sarson Ka Saag

  • – Wash mustard and spinach leaves thoroughly and cut them.
  • Chop onion and garlic finely.
  • – Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds.
  • Add onion and garlic and fry.
  • – Add mustard and spinach leaves and fry.
  • Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala and salt.
  • Add water and cook on low flame for 5-7 minutes.
  • Serve sarson ka saag or sarson da saag hot.

How to make corn bread

  • For corn bread, take corn flour in a big bowl, add a little wheat flour to it. Then add salt and oil and mix.
  • Then add lukewarm water to it and knead the dough. Then keep it aside for some time.
  • – Then make a big Luvo and make Tipi Roti with the help of palm with wet hands.
  • Then fry it on tawadi or tawi. Your cornbread is ready.
