The winter chill is back in Pune after a brief sunny period. The city recorded a single-digit temperature after 15 days on Saturday. The minimum temperature in Pune’s Shivajinagar was recorded at 9.6°C, while Talegaon, Baramati, Shirur, NDA and Haveli registered 9.8°C, 9.2°C, 9.2°C, 8.7°C and 8°C respectively, according to data shared on X (formerly Twitter) by KS Hosalikar, former head of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) Pune. This cold spell is attributed to northerly winds from the Western Himalayas.
