NASA astronaut Sunita Williams and Buch Wilmore have recently returned to Earth after nine months in space. The mission of both astronauts was only 8 days, but due to some technical fault they got stuck in space. However, several attempts were made to bring him back, which failed. About 9 months later, Alan Musk’s company SpaceX brought him back to the earth.

Sunita Williams and Buch Wilmore gave their first interview after returning to Earth. In this, he talked about his challenges. In fact, both were stranded at the International Space Station for 286 days due to Boeing ‘spacecraft malfunction. Both astronauts were safely brought back to Earth by a capsule of Allen Musk’s company SpaceX. However, this mission lasted for only 8 days. The question asked in the interview was, who do they hold responsible for this failure? Wilmore convicted himself and all others. However, he denied the claim that he was cheated in the case of Boeing Starlineer.

What did Buch Wilmore say?

During the interaction with the media, Buch Wilmore said, “I did not ask enough questions as the commander of the crew flight test, so I am guilty and I accept it in front of the nation.” He said that something else could have been done so that we would not have to wait so long. Commenting on the responsibility of NASA and Boeing, he said, “Everyone has a stake in it, as it did not run according to the mission plan.” There were many problems related to testing and preparation that I was not aware of.

When asked if he would travel again on Starlineer, Buch Wilmore said, “Yes, because we would fix it.” We will repair it and turn it on.
