Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandana’s upcoming film Chhava is going to be released in theaters on 14 February 2025. According to reports, more than 2 lakh tickets have been sold so far in the film’s advance booking, which has recorded pre-cells of more than Rs 6 crore for the first day’s earnings.
Vicky Kaushal is playing the role of Maratha Emperor Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj in ‘Chhava’, while Akshaye Khanna will be seen in the role of Aurangzeb. The film is directed by Laxman Utekar, and it also stars Ashutosh Rana, Divya Dutta, Neel Bhupalam, and Santosh Juvekar in important roles.
The trailer of the film has received positive response from the audience, which has accelerated the advance booking. Experts believe that ‘Chhawa’ can earn Rs 18 to 20 crores on Opening Day, making it one of the largest opener films of 2025.
The total duration of the film is 2hr 42 minutes and has received the UA 16+ Certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).
