After starring in back-to-back flops for a few years, Sunny Deol made his grand comeback with Gadar 2 which was released in 2023. Now, after nearly two years, the actor’s fans will get to watch him on the big screens in Jaat which is all set to release on April 10, 2025. The trailer of the movie has grabbed everyone’s attention, and even Urvashi Rautela’s song Sorry Bol has created a good pre-release buzz.
But, now, it will be interesting to see what response the movie will get at the box office especially on day 1. Jaat is slated to release on a Thursday which is a partial holiday (Mahavir Jayanti). The movie is expected to take a good start at the box office, but will it beat the day one collection of Gadar 2?
Gadar 2 on its day one had collected Rs. 40.10 crore which is excellent. But, there were multiple factors in the favour of the film and one them was nostalgia. The Anil Sharma’s directorial received mixed reviews from the critics, but still became a blockbuster.
Jaat Box Office Collection Day 1
Jaat has created a very good pre-release buzz, but the film won’t be able to cross Gadar 2’s day 1 collection. It is expected that the Gopichand Malineni directorial will take a double digit opening, and the collection can be around Rs. 10-12 crore on day 1. However, if the advance bookings and the on the spot bookings turn out to be better, than the collection can go above Rs. 15 crore as well.
But, if by chance, the film doesn’t show a good jump in the evening and night shows, then the collection can be less than Rs. 10 crore. However, looking at the buzz, we are expecting a double digit opening for Jaat.
Jaat Trailer
The trailer of Jaat promised that the Sunny Deol starrer will be a full-on massy film. The single screens audiences have been waiting for a good masala entertainer. Sikandar failed to impress them, so now, all eyes are on Jaat.
