Former England captain Michael Vaughan has vowed to get a haircut with Dindayal at Omniston Road in Mumbai this time around as he heads to the financial capital of India ahead of IPL 2025. The 2005 Ashes-winning skipper also predicted the winner of this year’s tournament, highest run-scorer and the wicket-taker.
Vaughan went on to claim that Mumbai Indians as the winner this year, while Varun Chakaravarthy and Shubman Gill to win the purple and orange cap, respectively. Mumbai Indians, who have notably won the competition five times, ended last year at the bottom of the points table. Chakaravarthy, meanwhile, comes into the tournament on the back of a memorable Champions Trophy 2025 campaign. Gill also had a decent Champions Trophy campaign, headlined by a century against Bangladesh.
