Ajay Devgn is gearing up for his second release of the year. The actor will be seen in Raid 2 which is a sequel to the 2018 release Raid. The first instalment was a super hit at the box office with a collection of Rs. 103.07 crore. Now, after seven years, the sequel is all set to hit the big screens on May 1, 2025. The trailer and the song Nasha have created a good pre-release buzz, but will Raid 2 beat the day one collection of Raid? Let’s have a look at the advance booking report of the film.

According to Sacnilk, till now, the movie has collected Rs. 1.87 crore in its advance booking for day 1. It is surely quite a good number as Raid 2 is still two days away from its release.

Raid on its day one had collected Rs. 10.04 crore. So, it will surely be interesting to see if Raid 2 will be able to beat the opening day number of the first instalment. While the buzz looks good and the advance booking is also impressive, we won’t be surprised if the sequel collects around what Raid collected on day 1. Further, the weekend collection will depend on reviews and word of mouth.
