Lucknow: A bizarre case has come to light from Uttar Pradesh’s Sant Kabir Nagar district. A government doctor has been alleged by his wife of engaging in sexually explicit activities while posing as a transgender woman, and earning from it online. The allegations came after purported visuals of him cross-dressing went viral on the internet.
The doctor has been identified as Varunesh Dubey. The allegation are, he used to dress up as a transgender woman and shot obscene videos with other men at his government accommodation, his wife Simpy Pandey alleged. A claim she supported with details of the furniture and home accessories visible in the footage.
The husband has refuted the claims and accused his wife of trying to defame him with deepfake videos to usurp his property.
Simpy Pandey, claimed that Dubey had been filming and selling pornographic videos in which he appeared in bikinis, often accompanied by other men, while presenting himself as a transgender woman. Viral images showed the doctor purportedly posing in woman’s dress.
How The Wife Came To Know?
According to Simpy, the scandal came to light when one of the video was posted online and quickly went viral. Recognising her husband and the interior of their house, she confronted him at their home in Gorakhpur on May 18. The confrontation reportedly escalated into a violent altercation, prompting her family to intervene. CCTV footage captured a physical fight between Dubey and his on-laws later that day.
Police Action
Simpy has filed a case against her husband and the matter has now escalated. A high-level police probe is underway, the police have sealed Dr Dubey’s government accommodation and launched a forensic probe into the video in question. An FIR has been registered that includes charges of infidelity, mental cruelty, and physical abuse.
Simpy and Varunesh Dubey had a love marriage and have a 5-year old child.
