What would be the story of ‘Sholay 2’?
According to the story of this sequel, Helen’s character spends the night with Gabbar after the song Mehbooba, which gives a son of Gabbar. Now Gabbar’s son wants to avenge his father’s death. The story shows that Veeru and Basanti go to meet Radha’s widow Radha, but Gabbar’s son kidnaps him. Subsequently, his son comes to take revenge.
Sippy family also wanted to cast Jackie Chan
Ram Gopal Varma revealed that the Sippy family also wanted to cast Jackie Chan in this sequel. However, Verma did not like this story and refused to be a part of the film. Subsequently, he himself decided to remake ‘Sholay’.
‘Ram Gopal Varma’s fire’ and its creative block
Ram Gopal Varma said that while making the film, he faced creative block and took many wrong decisions, which became the cause of the film being a flop. Released in 2007, ‘Ram Gopal Varma Ki Aag’ failed at the box office, and is counted among the worst remake films ever.
