UP Board 10 Topper 2025: Yash Pratap Singh of Jalaun, a student of Late Smt Rasakendri Devi Inter College, has become the UP Board Class 10 topper 2025 with an outstanding 97.83%. He obtained 586 out of 600 marks, which is a reflection of his hard work, perseverance, and dedication.

Hailing from a humble background, Yash’s father, Subedar Om Prakash Singh, is an Indian Army man and his mother is a housewife. His success has been an inspiration, especially for rural and semi-urban students. He credited his success to unflinching hard work and persistent effort.

The second position was occupied by Anshi and Abhishek Yadav, both with 97.67%, and the third position was acquired jointly by Ritu Garg, Arpit Verma, and Simran Gupta, each with 97.50%.

Pass Percentage Trends – Class 10

The pass percentage for Class 10 in 2025 was 90.11%, showing a consistent improvement over the past few years:

2024: 89.55%

2023: 89.78%

2022: 88.18%

2021: 99.53% (Pandemic year)

2020: 83.31%

2019: 80.07%

This consistent upward trend highlights the growing academic performance of students in Uttar Pradesh.

Girls Outshine Boys

Girls have once again surpassed boys in Class 10 and 12 exams. In Class 10, girls achieved a pass percentage of 93.87%, way above the 86.66% obtained by boys. In Class 12, the gap became even more prominent with girls attaining 86.37%, as against 76.60% by boys.
