Plot
The film is set in the small village of Ronapura and follows Bhairathi, whose violent actions in response to a water crisis lead to a lengthy 21-year prison sentence. After his release from jail, he discovers that his village is facing a mining threat. Determined to fight for justice through legal means, he becomes a lawyer. What unfolds next is revealed in the film.
