The romantic fantasy series is set to release on the occasion of Valentine’s Day. It will be available on Amazon Prime Video. The streaming platform shared the poster of the series on X and captioned, “If they wanted to find you amidst an apocalypse, they would. The first two episodes of Newtopia stream February 7.”
Plot
The series follows a young couple who fall in love but eventually break up due to compatibility issues. Their lives take an unexpected turn when Seoul is struck by a zombie outbreak. Park Jeong-min portrays a soldier who becomes trapped in a building during the chaos. Meanwhile, Jisoo, his ex-girlfriend, decides to risk everything to save him and embarks on a dangerous mission to fight off the zombies. What challenges will she face in her quest to rescue him? What happens next is revealed in the series.

The cast of the series includes Park Jeong-min as Lee Jae-yoon, Jisoo as Kang Young-ju, Hong Seo-hee as Oh Soo-jung, Lee Hak-joo as Sung Tae-sik / Alex, and Kim Junhan as Aaron Park, among others. It is based on Han Sang-woon’s novel, Influenza. Han Jin-won and Ji Ho-jin has written the series. Yoon Sung-hyun has directed the series. It is produced by Bound Entertainment and Billions Plus.
