Plot overview

The Sandman follows the story of Lord Morpheus, the ruler of the Dreaming. He is one of the seven Endless, immortal beings connected to powerful forces such as Desire and Death. The series depicts his journey as he navigates his realm after being imprisoned for centuries. Once he is freed, he seeks to reclaim his lost powers and treasures, which include a helmet, a pouch filled with his dream sand, and a ruby. Will he be able to create a balance between the world of dreams and the waking world?
