According to police sources in this regard, the body of a three -month -old girl was recovered from a well on the outskirts of Asarkheda village of Badnapur taluka on 12 April. As soon as the incident was reported, the local SP Basal and the high officials reached the spot. After this, the police started a detailed investigation of why the girl was murdered. Meanwhile, the police have started receiving details of girls and their parents born in the district in the last three-four months.

Meanwhile, the police came to know that the Pawar couple had a fourth child in the Garwadi-Tanda area of ​​the nearby Asarkheda village, but the child is missing. So when the police questioned Satish Pawar and Pooja Pawar in the case, they confessed that after three girls, some relatives were taunting them at the birth of a fourth girl, due to which they were fed up and killed a three -month -old girl in a well near Vadgaon.

After the couple accepted the crime, the police took both of them into custody and started further action by registering a case under the relevant sections.
