With day one of the much-anticipated third Test between India and Australia at the Gabba in Brisbane proving to be a damp squib due to persistent rain, it’s intriguing to know what day two holds for the viewers. With an early start scheduled for day two, fans can expect slightly more overs as compared to day one. Nevertheless, it could still be another stop-start day.
According to Accuweather, the temperature on December 15, Sunday will hover around 30 degrees and the cloud cover will remain at a 100%. Moreover, the chances of rain is at a significant 46% in the morning. As far as the conditions in the afternoon goes, the chances of rain decreases to 25%, but the cloud cover will persist. Considerable cloud cover is expected in the evening too, while the probability of precipitation is 12%.
The coin toss fell in Rohit Sharma’s favour as he opted to bowl first, given the overcast conditions. Both sides made two changes to their side, with India bringing in Akash Deep and Ravindra Jadeja for Harshit Rana and Ravichandran Ashwin. Australia triggered one change from their playing XI in Adelaide that scripted a ten-wicket win, bringing in Josh Hazlewood for Scott Boland.
